Non-Profit

Patrick E. Ngowi founded the Light for Life Foundation, a non-profit social enterprise which focuses on providing clean energy solutions for the less privileged across Africa.

The Foundation works to create sustainable economic and business development opportunities for women by providing new power outlets. New business models are born in rural Tanzania through establishment of mobile phone charging points that bring about new income.

Since its inception, the Light For Life Foundation has distributed over 1,000 solar power kits to over 1,000 women and youth (all of whom have been trained in its use) in off-grid areas in Tanzania.

Realising that the current social needs are greater than what he could do single handily, Patrick created the Light for Life Foundation social platform that collaborates with local and multinational corporations, SME’s, development partners and all philanthropic individuals to deliver turnkey social solutions that cut across various sectors including, but not limited to, electrification, environment, health and education to those who are less fortunate throughout Africa.

With the core vision vested in lowering carbon footprints, the Light For Life Foundation works for a brighter future with infinite possibilities for the continent of Africa.
